Thanksgiving & Temple!!

Image
Hi yall!! What a good week! Thanksgiving was seriously so fun. I got to spend Thanksgiving with my Bazor besties. I love that family so much!! We also got to have a district activity on Thanksgiving. We showed up at the church and the elders had made us all breakfast. ISNT THAT SO NICE?! We decorated cakes, ate breakfast, and played football. One of the elders said that me and Sister Butler were like Phoebe and Rachel on the thanksgiving episode of friends haha. It was very true though. I suck at football. I am so grateful for the Bazors and our district. They made the holiday away from home so much fun!  WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE WITH SIERRA!!! Isn't that so awesome?! Another family in the ward was going this weekend so we got Sierra her temple recommend and tagged along. It was seriously so fun. 7 hours in a car was a long time though lol. But it was all worth it for the temple. With Sierras baptism on Monday and going to the temple with her on Saturday, I've been just filled wit...

Sierra’s Baptism!!!

Hi yall!!!!!! Transfer 3 baby. I'm out of training yeehaw. This has been the craziest week ever! Yall remember how last week I was saying we were going to meet with Sierra to set a date for baptism? Yeah she chose today. We planned a baptism in like 5 days. ITS BEEN CRAZY. We had to change the program like 5 times because everyone is going out of town for Thanksgiving but it all still worked out haha!  Sierra is such a miracle. As I was talking to her this week, she told me why she chose to be baptized all of the sudden. Sierra and her dad were in a car crash a couple of weeks ago that should have hurt them pretty badly, but they came out completely okay. Also during this time is when her depression was really bad too. She had a feeling to turn to the scriptures one day and Sierra said she found happiness that she's never felt before! Then the next week at church, she felt the spirit so strongly and knew she wanted this feeling to stay. So here we are!! My heart has been so ful...

THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT

Hi yall!!  We are in the last week of the transfer and I'm pumped. We got lots of work to do the next couple of days! Sister Merritt is getting transferred so rip. We had a great 12 weeks together and I'm going to miss her so much! IM STAYING IN LAKEWAY!! I'm pumped. It's going to be so good to be here for another transfer, I'm so excited!  This week absolutely flew by, I honestly can't remember what we did this week lol.  LISTEN TO THIS. Our friend Sierra is one of our Bazor besties. The Bazors are a family that we love with all our hearts, her sister Elena is on date for baptism in December. We invited Sierra to be baptized last week, but she shot us down. HOWEVER, this week we have been praying that Sierra can feel the spirit and gain courage to start on the covenant path! Flashforward to Sunday, we went over to see her and her family and she told us the best news ever. SHE WANTS TO GET BAPTIZED! Sierra said that during church, she felt the spirit so strongly...

Zone Conference!!!

Hi yall!  This week has been so awesome!! Zone conference was seriously the best. It was 6 straight hours of feeling the spirit and I loved every minute of it! I learned so much and if I wrote that all down this email would be too long haha. I LOVE PRESIDENT AND SISTER GRAHAM!! Do yall remember last week how I said Tosha has an interview with President to see if she can get baptized? So yeah, she didn't show up rip. BUT, President and Sister Graham took us out for disappointment shakes after. I literally love them so much.  We also went on exchanges this week! Sister Butler is my absolute favorite person ever. We are the same person and we did not stop laughing all day. I went on the exchange in her area so half the lessons were Spanish. I just sat in the corner, smiling and nodding. Everyone we street contacted that day were jehovah witnesses so that was funny.  So the big game didn't turn out very well this weekend. Georgia beat Tennessee :( everyone took the loss so ba...
