THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT

Hi yall!!

We are in the last week of the transfer and I'm pumped. We got lots of work to do the next couple of days! Sister Merritt is getting transferred so rip. We had a great 12 weeks together and I'm going to miss her so much! IM STAYING IN LAKEWAY!! I'm pumped. It's going to be so good to be here for another transfer, I'm so excited!

This week absolutely flew by, I honestly can't remember what we did this week lol.

LISTEN TO THIS. Our friend Sierra is one of our Bazor besties. The Bazors are a family that we love with all our hearts, her sister Elena is on date for baptism in December. We invited Sierra to be baptized last week, but she shot us down. HOWEVER, this week we have been praying that Sierra can feel the spirit and gain courage to start on the covenant path! Flashforward to Sunday, we went over to see her and her family and she told us the best news ever. SHE WANTS TO GET BAPTIZED! Sierra said that during church, she felt the spirit so strongly and just knew she has to get baptized. HEAVENLY FATHER IS SO AWESOME. Sierra is praying about what day and we are going back on Tuesday to set a baptismal date. My heart was so full it could've burst. I love that family so much! Also, Sierra came home from church and studied the Book of Mormon for 4 hours. HOW COOL IS SHE? She has completely changed overnight and it's all thanks to the Spirit!

We found an awesome family that we started teaching this week. One of them is named Beyonce. No big deal. Just teaching Beyonce. I would literally die for this family and I just met them lol. They are all so awesome and are super promising! Maria (the mom) grew up in Puerto Rico and most of her older siblings are members of the church. She remembers going to church but never got baptized. She has a strong desire to get baptized and learn more about God & Jesus Christ! We are praying that the desire stays and they'll be able to get to church this Sunday!

This week I've just been super grateful to be a missionary! I've met so many people and learned so many things that would not have happened if I didn't go on my mission! I love being a representative of Jesus Christ! Alma 26 is such a good chapter! In this chapter, Ammon is giving all the glory to God for all the success. I really like verse 3:

"And this is the blessing which hath been bestowed upon us, that we have been made instruments in the hands of God to bring about this great work."

I've come to know that this verse is so true. Being a missionary and an instrument in the Lord's hands is the biggest blessing ever. I'm so grateful that I get to be a part of this great work! BEING A MISSIONARY IS AWESOME

I love yall and hope everyone is doing good! Have a blessed week!
