Thanksgiving & Temple!!

Hi yall!!

What a good week! Thanksgiving was seriously so fun. I got to spend Thanksgiving with my Bazor besties. I love that family so much!! We also got to have a district activity on Thanksgiving. We showed up at the church and the elders had made us all breakfast. ISNT THAT SO NICE?! We decorated cakes, ate breakfast, and played football. One of the elders said that me and Sister Butler were like Phoebe and Rachel on the thanksgiving episode of friends haha. It was very true though. I suck at football. I am so grateful for the Bazors and our district. They made the holiday away from home so much fun!

WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE WITH SIERRA!!! Isn't that so awesome?! Another family in the ward was going this weekend so we got Sierra her temple recommend and tagged along. It was seriously so fun. 7 hours in a car was a long time though lol. But it was all worth it for the temple. With Sierras baptism on Monday and going to the temple with her on Saturday, I've been just filled with joy. Sierra has been such a blessing to me, she's grown my testimony so much. She has become one of my good friends, I absolutely love her.

We got to do some more demolition this week. I felt like I was on fixer upper. This house that we were working on had so many dead birds in it haha. We had a memorial service and everything. God Be With You Til We Meet Again goes hard during bird burials. Running through walls and throwing hammers and stuff has become one of my new favorite hobbies.

Also went to bdubs for lunch one day and it happened to be the same day USA played England. Hard to stay consecrated in there lol. I LOVE THE WORLD CUP. SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME SCORE UPDATES. Mega party foul that USA keeps ending up in ties. Let's all start praying for them to win at least one game haha.

My favorite chapter I studied this week was 2 Nephi 4. I love Nephi's example in this chapter. He's going through a hard trial, he realizes it, he trusts in the Lord, and continues. Trials and rough patches are inevitable in this life. But as we turn to the scriptures and the Lord, we can find true comfort. My favorite verses were verses 19-20!

19 And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in whom I have trusted.

20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

Change, trials, and tribulations are all constants in our lives. But do you know what else is? Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. No matter what we go through, what we do, They will always be there for us as we turn towards Them. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have truly been my support during my life and especially on my mission. I am so grateful for Them. I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven with all of my heart!

I hope yall have a blessed week! Read your scriptures, say your prayers, and watch the world cup! I LOVE YALL<3

GO USA!
