Sierra’s Baptism!!!

Hi yall!!!!!!

Transfer 3 baby. I'm out of training yeehaw. This has been the craziest week ever! Yall remember how last week I was saying we were going to meet with Sierra to set a date for baptism? Yeah she chose today. We planned a baptism in like 5 days. ITS BEEN CRAZY. We had to change the program like 5 times because everyone is going out of town for Thanksgiving but it all still worked out haha!

Sierra is such a miracle. As I was talking to her this week, she told me why she chose to be baptized all of the sudden. Sierra and her dad were in a car crash a couple of weeks ago that should have hurt them pretty badly, but they came out completely okay. Also during this time is when her depression was really bad too. She had a feeling to turn to the scriptures one day and Sierra said she found happiness that she's never felt before! Then the next week at church, she felt the spirit so strongly and knew she wanted this feeling to stay. So here we are!! My heart has been so full this whole week as we've been helping Sierra get prepared for today. I am so grateful for her and the example she has set for me!

Today has been my most favorite day of my mission. Sierra's baptism was so spirit filled and so full of love. I have never felt so much love in one moment before. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary and share this awesome gospel! I LOVE BAPTISMS!

Said goodbye to Sis Merritt this week rip. I love her. My new companion is Sister Sincich. I've just been calling her Spinach lol. She's from American Fork and is awesome! Funny story: this week we did demolition for a family in our ward and there were drugs everywhere lol. Gotta love it.

My favorite scriptures from my study this week has been 1 Nephi 21:16 and 2 Nephi 1:15

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

15 But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love.

Jesus Christ retained his wounds from His crucifixion as a reminder of what He did for each and every one of us. We are on His hands and feet. Through the Atonement, we are able to feel of His love. Lehi was looking back on His life and saw through all of His experiences that God was there. As we look back on our life, we will be able to see God's hand and love in all aspects of our life. I LOVE MY SAVIOR. I am truly encircled about in the arms of His love.

I love yall so much!!!! Have a blessed week and a happy Thanksgiving!!!
