Tennessee Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! 

 

 

This week has seriously been one of my favorites so far. I'm so grateful for the Lakeway ward and the sweet families that take care of us! 

 

 

We had zone conference this week and it was a blast. Our whole mission was there! I got to see so many people that I love! It was seriously so much fun. I always come from zone conference feeling so much better spiritually and mentally. This zone conference really helped me and I'm super grateful for that! There were lots of musical numbers, testimonies, and skits. The spirit was super strong and I laughed way too hard. I'm afraid my humor is broken from being a missionary, but that's besides the point. I'm so blessed to be in the TKM with all of these awesome missionaries <3

 

 

Christmas Eve and Christmas was full of spending time with people I love here. I don't think I'll ever stop talking about how much I love the people here. I'm so grateful that I have such a good Tennessee family here in Morristown!! 

 

 

I've watched the Christ Child like 30 times this week. Never gets old haha. The spirit of Christ's birth is so strong! I have loved being able to focus completely on the Savior this Christmas. I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes from the First Presidency Christmas Devo this year:

Christ can transform our Christmas beyond the ribbons of kindness and affection and wrap our celebrations with charity, which is “the pure love of Christ [that] endureth forever.” “Though our feelings come and go, His love for us does not.” His love continues throughout the year and throughout our lives.

The Spirit that is felt during Christmas can be felt all year long because the love of God and Jesus Christ is constant! 

 

 

Well, turns out I'm leaving Lakeway :( my heart is so sad because I have come to love all these people so much. But, I'm heading to KNOXVILLE on Wednesday and i can't wait! Yall will never guess who my new companion is ;) Have a blessed week! LOVE YALL!!!!
