Temple Week!!!

Hi yall! 

This week was the best!!! I got to go to the Nashville Temple with our friend Amanda! Amanda got baptized a couple of months ago, and we have been working with her teaching family history since I got here! We got to go to the temple with her and it was the best experience ever. She was able to baptize her mom and both her grandma's. It was so awesome. She said the temple was "groovy"  haha I love her so much 

ALSO went to Buc-ees for the first time. I'm officially a tennesseean. When I told people in the ward I went to Buc-ees after the temple, they were all more excited that I got to go to Buc-ees. Everyone worships that place. It's giant. It's got like 50 gas pumps and the gas station has shopping carts because it's so big. Me and Sister Merritt took a picture with the beaver dude and someone walked passed us and said "you should teach him the first discussion, he won't say anything mean back to ya" 

Our friend Elena has came to us and said that she's really thinking about getting baptized !!!! THIS IS AWESOME. We have weekly scripture studies set up with her now :) 

This is the last full week of the transfer which is absolutely crazy. It's flying by. We have transfer calls Saturday night. Fingers crossed I stay in Talbott! AND GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEKEND!!! I'm so pumped. A lot of our friends committed to watching it because they don't have to get up from the couch so that's awesome 

Ether 12 has my heart. I love that whole chapter, it's the best. I seriously love all the versed but these two stuck out to me this week

6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith

12 For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith.

What I love from them is that faith comes back stronger after the trials that we have! What a great reason for trials to happen. Through trials we can come to know Christ more in the end. And in verse 12, when we have faith we can literally expect miracles!! We had our zone leaders challenge us to look for miracles every day and I invite you guys to do that as well!! As we are faithful and searching for God every day, we will see miracles!!

I think that's about it, I have an awful memory and can't think of what else I did this week HAHA. I love yall so much!!! Have a blessed week!!!
